Our tours offer a bird’s eye view of Manhattan and the surrounding area that can let you see many of the city’s iconic sites while avoiding the hassle of traffic on the ground.At Helicopter Flight Services, our guests’ safety is our top priority. We fly state-of-the-art aircraft equipped with standard safety features and employ highly skilled and experienced pilots.
In spite of this, there may be times when we are forced to cancel our helicopter tours for safety reasons. This could be necessary in the event of severe weather or adverse conditions that make flying difficult and potentially dangerous.
We might be forced to cancel your flight in the event that there is dense fog or low clouds that can make it hard for the pilot to see the terrain and navigate safely. We might also cancel your flight if there is lightning, extremely gusty winds, or heavy rain or snow that could interfere with the safe navigation of the helicopter.
If your tour is canceled due to inclement weather, we will work with you to reschedule your flight for another day. There will be no additional charge if your flight is canceled due to weather. If you are unable to reschedule your tour for another day, we can issue you a full refund.
At Helicopter Flight Services, your safety is our number one priority. We take safety precautions and would rather err on the side of caution and cancel a flight if the weather is bad than put our customers at risk. We want your experience with us to be as safe and enjoyable as possible.
