Make a reservation early. Helicopter tours are popular, especially in the summer, when many people are visiting New York on vacation. Call to reserve your spaces as early as possible. If you are unable to get seats on your chosen day, you might be able to schedule for another day during your vacation.
Dress appropriately for your helicopter tour. Wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt. If you are planning your tour for the spring or fall, wear a light jacket. If your tour is in the winter, wear a coat, hat, and gloves. Do not wear a hat, scarf, visor, bandanna, or headband. Wear secure shoes, not sandals or flip-flops. If you have long hair, it should be tied back. Do not bring a purse or bag with you.
Show up at the heliport a little early. You will need time to check in and get situated. Listen carefully to the pre-flight information you receive. The pilot will explain how to board and exit the helicopter, where to sit, where the first aid kit is located, and what to do if there is an emergency.
In the event of heavy rain or snow, a severe storm, strong winds, or dense fog, it may be necessary to postpone your helicopter tour. We will work with you to reschedule for another day and time or issue you a refund.
