In the summer the High Line is open until 11PM. So wander to your heart’s content.
Picture this: New York at night on a rooftop watching one of your favorite classic films! Who’s with us? Check out Rooftop Cinema Club. The “cinema” opens at 6:30pm, so you get to experience the sunset. It’s absolutely magical. Once the sun goes down, the movie starts. Everyone gets their own wireless headphones so you can actually live in the cinematic moment. There’s a full food menu, as well as your classic box office snack menu, and a full bar!
Hop on the F train and take it to the Coney Island stop! The boardwalk at night is enchanting and playful. Have a hot dog (or two), and just enjoy everything you see because there’s always something exciting happening on the boardwalk. Every Friday during the summer they host a free fireworks show that lights up the entire Coney Island Skyline.
This is a family-friendly outdoor market that happens every Saturday from 5pm-midnight. It features up to 100 vendors selling food and merchandise. If you’re lucky you can catch small performances celebrating the cultural diversity of Queens.
