Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your flight, we require you to email or call our office in advance at (212) 355-0801.
Blackout Dates Refund Policy – To ensure fairness to all customers, we have implemented a no-refund policy during blackout periods, as these dates are in high demand and cancellations may affect others’ ability to book. In addition, in advance of high demand periods, HFS makes advance arrangements with internal staffing and multiple suppliers and partners, thus we are unable to accommodate refunds during blackout periods.
- Blackout Periods (2026):
- April 1 – May 1
- July 1 – September 7
- November 20 – January 4, 2027
If you need to cancel or reschedule during these periods, we will issue a flight credit, which must be used within 12 months of the purchase date. Changes must be made more than 72 hours before your scheduled flight for no additional charges to apply.
Standard Cancellation Terms (Outside Blackout Dates)
- Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the flight are eligible for a refund, minus a credit card refund processing fee.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of departure are non-refundable.

Rescheduling Terms
- 72–24 hours before flight: Non-refundable but may be rescheduled within 12 months of the original purchase date for a $50 per person fee.
- Less than 24 hours before flight: Non-refundable but may be rescheduled within 12 months of the original purchase date for a $100 per person fee.
Force Majeure Policy
HeliNY assumes no liability for unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, including, but not limited to, presidential or governmental actions, adverse weather conditions, national or regional emergencies, or mechanical issues that may impact your flight. In the event of such situations, every effort will be made to reschedule your flight; no refunds will be issued. Customers will have the option to reschedule your flight within 12 months of the original purchase date or transfer your ticket to another individual. No-Show Policy – No-shows are non-refundable. A one-time reschedule may be allowed within 12 months of purchase for a $100 per person fee, subject to availability.
