Junior Marketing Associate - Linden, NJ

Job Description:  

HeliNY is looking for a Junior Marketing Associate This roll will support the Director of Marketing and Business Development in executing marketing strategies and campaigns to enhance our brand presence and attract a diverse clientele. This role involves a mix of content creation, project coordination, and administrative tasks, to ensure our marketing efforts run smoothly and effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
  • Manage social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of newsletters, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Maintain and update the company’s website with fresh content and relevant information.
  • Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Serve as junior Brand Ambassador, representing HeliNY to NY/NJ Concierges, visiting on a routine basis, and maintaining personal contact with such vendors.
  • Distribution of various HeliNY collateral for NY and NJ hotels.
  • Utilize company van for marketing visibility, pamphlet solicitations, and mobile brand awareness campaigns.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination for promotional activities and client events.
  • Assist and attend industry trade shows, as required.
  • Support the development of marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
  • Assist in HeliNY merchandising development and management of inventory.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to marketing projects, including scheduling meetings and maintaining marketing databases.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the travel, luxury, or aviation industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Engaging, outgoing personality with strong client-facing capabilities and self-confidence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas and content.
  • Experience with marketing and brand awareness campaigns
  • Proficiency MS Suite
  • Passion for travel and luxury experiences is a plus.
  • Valid Driver License
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
  • Ability to work in a home office in Linden, NJ, and frequently travel to Manhattan.
